Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using flashcardaudit.com. We want to keep the platform safe and fair for all users.

1. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload any Anki decks or content that:

  • Is Illegal: Includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual sexual content, or content promoting terrorism or violence.
  • Violates IP: Infringes on the copyright, trademark, or patent rights of others. You expressly represent and warrant that any factual content, text, or media you upload is either in the public domain, licensed for your use, or originally created by you, and that you have all rights necessary to grant the Company the licenses described in our Terms of Service, including the right to extract and retain the underlying factual concepts in anonymized form.
  • Sensitive Data: Includes Personally Identifiable Information (PII), confidential medical records, or third-party private data you do not have permission to share.
  • Harassment: Contains content intended to harass, threaten, or defame specific individuals.
  • Harmful Content: Promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or provides instructions for dangerous or illegal activities.
  • Contains Malware: Includes viruses, trojans, worms, or any code designed to disrupt the Service.
  • Promotes Hate Speech: Advocates for violence or discrimination against protected groups.

2. Prohibited Actions

  • System Abuse:You must not attempt to "Game" our system, bypass rate limits, or exploit the token budget (e.g., uploading "Zip bombs" or massively redundant files to exhaust our compute).
  • Reverse Engineering:You must not attempt to reverse engineer our "QualityScore" algorithm or access our internal APIs.
  • Vulnerability Scanning: You may not run automated vulnerability scans or penetration tests against our infrastructure without prior written permission.
  • Audit Title Integrity:You must not include PII (e.g., your full name, SSN, phone number) or inappropriate content (e.g., slurs, sexually explicit text) in any "Audit Name" or title field.
  • Unauthorized Sharing of Audits: While audit URLs are unlisted, you must not publicly share, post, or publish the link to your audit report if the underlying Anki deck contains copyrighted material that you do not have the explicit legal right to distribute.

3. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any violation of this policy. If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may:

  • Terminate your access to the Service immediately.
  • Delete your offending content.
  • Ban your IP address.
  • Report illegal content (especially CSAM) to the NCMEC and law enforcement.
